Learn different techniques to perceive, draw and paint the face.
The first half of the session will cover face structure, shapes, value, composition, drawing from life and from a reference, and a couple of different techniques to construct the face on paper or canvas.
The second half will cover painting a face onto wood panel with a limited colour palette using acrylic paints.
What to bring:
Yourself and comfy clothes you don’t mind getting messy (just in case)
A light lunch if you like or have specific dietary requirements
An sketchbook and an open mind
All materials, light snacks and coffee/tea provided in the beautiful Light Heart Collective studio in Vasse. Your work is yours to take home and show off your new skills, along with a class outline and information!
