‘Art Is’ collaborative exhibition during MRROS is on again
MRROS 2023
As you may have heard through my social media, I signed up for Margaret River Region Open Studios this year after holding a crowdfunding campaign for my entry fee. It is such a great opportunity to be involved in and I am very excited and also wondering if I can do this. Please come and visit me and my studio in September, I look forward to talking art and meeting you all.

Portraiture Basics Workshop
Learn different techniques to perceive, draw and paint the face.
The first half of the session will cover face structure, shapes, value, composition, drawing from life and from a reference, and a couple of different techniques to construct the face on paper or canvas.
The second half will cover painting a face onto wood panel with a limited colour palette using acrylic paints.
What to bring:
Yourself and comfy clothes you don’t mind getting messy (just in case)
A light lunch if you like or have specific dietary requirements
An sketchbook and an open mind
All materials, light snacks and coffee/tea provided in the beautiful Light Heart Collective studio in Vasse. Your work is yours to take home and show off your new skills, along with a class outline and information!
Suited to the beginner, the curious and the always-been-scared-to-paint-faces. Bring a friend, or a group. A great gift idea too! Minimum of 3 for the workshop to go ahead.

Polychrome - exhibition
ArtGeo Cultural Complex are hosting my first exhibition, Polychrome. It has been a journey of many sorts, and I have completed 12 paintings now on show over July.
